Friendship

"The better part of one's life consists of his friendships."
- Abraham Lincoln, (sent by Heather Myers)

Yesterday Jay and I were able to spend time with two sets of our wonderful friends. I never want to take true friends for granted. They are irreplaceable!

Tuesday Pic

In my house sits a beautiful piano. This piano is not new, is out of tune and has many scratches, but to me it is priceless. This piano sat in my Grandmother's house since I was a little girl. On it sit two of my Grandmothers very old song books. These song books are from many years ago when she first came to church and began to play. These are great treasures to me, they are priceless.

365 Days In Pictures

This year I wanted to attempt to do something that I hace seen done and enjoyed so much. Basically I will post a new picture everyday. I love pictures and always have. I most definitly do not claim to be a great photographer but It could be fun. Obviously I am already behind so here are my first five pictures.

Jay and I Saturday took of driving and ended up in the mountains. The sights were beautiful and we had such a great time. I saw a quote this week that said "The happiest people are not the people who have the best of everything, the happiest people are the ones who make the best of everything". Life is about having fun so get out there and have some!

Emily

On Saturday one of my very best friends daughter was in a sledding accident. Emily was sledding down a hill hit a bump and hit head on into a tree stump. She was unresponsive and had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. Her parents were unable to fly with her and had a three hour drive to even get to where they were taking her. I cannot even imagine this torment! Thankfully our dear friend Annie was able to meet Emily at the hospital so that she wasn't alone until her parents were able to make it.

Emily had several fractures to her face and eye socket and a very serious concussion. We all immediately begin to pray. She has spent several days in the ICU. Things are looking good though and once she is able to eat and hold it down she will be able to go home. We love this little munchkin and are continuing to pray for a complete healing. We love you Emily!
