Patriotic Performance

On Monday night Haden and Madison had their end of the year performance at school. They had a patriotic theme where they performed songs and Madison and Haden both had speaking parts. I am so proud of our kids this year. They have done so well. I cannot believe this school year is over in a week, where has the year gone?

After the performance we joined family and friends for some Dewar's ice cream to celebrate. We are looking forward to a fun filled summer enjoying our kids and this precious time we have with them. It's all going by so fast.

Happy 65th Anniversary

This weekend we had the privilege of celebrating Jay's Grandparents 65th Anniversary. What a milestone! These two have weathered many storms, and I'm sure lots of days were not easy but their love prevailed. Jay and I are both so blessed to have the Grandparents we have had. What beautiful examples of Love, Commitment and Integrity! Happy Anniversary Grandpa and Grandma we love you both so very much!

Mother's Day

I hope that all of you Mother's had a beautiful day yesterday surrounded by the ones you love and that love you. I had the pleasure of being with my mother and mother in love. They are both extraordinary women who deserve to be celebrated. I am so thankful for the both of them, without them Jay and I would be lost.

My kids were so sweet and made me beautiful gifts from the heart that I will always treasure. My hubby made dinner and even my favorite, fudge. I am so blessed and am thankful for all of the wonderful mother's I have had impact my life, thank you!

Today

Four years ago today Jay and I went on our very first date. We had been talking for several weeks and had decided a meeting was in order. :) We spent the whole day together. We had lunch and ice cream in Ventura, sat on the beach and shared stories and then later decided we needed to do dinner also. The rest is history. I am so incredibly blessed to have found him and the two children that I love so much. I love Jay and respect him and know that he loves me and my children with his whole heart. I am blessed beyond measure and am so thankful that we were lucky enough to find each other. I love you Jason Mercer!
