You Go Girl!!

I was so excited to hear about our new Vice President!! :) Sarah Palin will be running alongside Senator John McCain. Mrs. Palin is the mother of five children, and has been involved in everything from PTA to coaching. I am now very pumped for these elections! She will have the white house fed, burped and bathed in no time:)

The Best Birthday Ever!!!!!!!!!!

As most of you know my birthday was last Friday. I hit the big 29. I am like a little kid and always look forward to birthday's. It's just a day when you feel special and it's all about you!!! lol jk. I have some amazing friends and family who had sent cards and flowers and I had lunch with two of my favorite people. My day was going great!! Jay had sent me flowers also, and we made plans to go to dinner with the babies since it was our weekend with all four of them.
Well around three o'clock I received a phone call from Jay saying for me to pack an overnight bag, and that his mom would be watching the kids for the night. I was sooo excited!! I looveeee surprises and the thought of us being able to get away together sounded heavenly.
Jay showed up around four and we left town. I had no idea where we were headed, but truthfully didn't even care. Jay had me keep guessing and I had some ideas, none that were correct. We drove through Santa Maria, then Pismo and I'm thinking where could we be going?? Then I saw the Madonna Inn sign and let out a big whoo Hoo!! Of course jay reminded me not to get my hopes up!! lol We did finally pull into the parking lot. I had a smile from ear to ear. I had commented a couple of times in passing how neat it would be to stay there. My parents had stayed there on there honeymoon over thirty years ago.
We arrived at our room, dropped our bags off and Jay informed me that we had dinner reservations. He knows I love seafood, and he had reservations at Sea Ventures overlooking the water. We are seated at our table and I notice there are flowers on the table from him!!!!!!!!! I was honestly just blown away by then. I had tears in my eyes and could barely speak. We proceeded to order and Jay pulled out a box that totally looked like something else and asked if I would like to have it and I said of course, well... when I opened the box there lay the most beautiful ring!! It was beautiful!!! I was speechless. This man who has given me the greatest gift of all, himself, had made me feel like a princess. He was so thoughtful.
Our room was absolutely gorgeous and the weather was heavenly. We ate breakfast Saturday morning at Apple Farm then did a little shopping. What a birthday!!! I will never ever forget this one. Thank you Baby for being my everything, you continue to amaze me everyday. I love you with my whole heart. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday

Well I'm really behind on this one but better late than never. My other mom had a birthday on the 26th. I just want her to know how much I love and appreciate her. She has always been there for me in so many ways. I could never express my thankfulness to her for everything. Thankyou for always being there, then and now. Love you!

My Boys

Well it's almost time for Dove Hunting and my boys are ready. Jay surprised Haden and bought him his first shotgun, you should have seen his face. Bowen felt a little left out so he got Haden's old bb gun, so he felt like a big boy too.

Jay's Big Day

Last week the airport had an open house for the community to come and check out the different options in the Charter business. Jay's company was represented and Jay was even interviewed by the news and had his brush with fame on television. I am so proud of him.

Back To School

Today the babies headed back to school. Haleigh is in fourth and Haden and Madison in first. Because they do not have school on Mondays they will be going to school until three thirty which seems like such an awfully long time for my littl six year olds who only went until twelve thirty last year. It will definitly save on gas with me not having to pick them up at diffrent times than their sister but still. I am trying to catch up on lots of diffrent projects and making a few lunch dates with friends. I love and miss the babies already but definitly enjoyong some quiet time...with Bowen of course.

America Girl

This past weekend the girls and I, my mom and Jay's mom went to the American girl store in L.A. We met up with my sister-n-law Mandy and little Madelyn. We celebrated Madelyn's birthday there with a beautiful lunch. The girls were in heaven. They collect American Girl Dolls and this place was three stories full of dolls and accessories. We had an amazing time and the girls have been talking about it all week!!! What a fun day with friends and family. Happy Birthday miss Madelyn we love you bunches!!!!

Happy Anniversary

Today my parents are celebrating thirty two years of marriage. In today's society that is quit an accomplishment. These two deserve to be noticed, and congratulated and here are a few reasons why.
I grew up in a fun and loving household. My parents were loving, yet firm and never wavered who they were, or what they believed in. They allowed my brother and I to be ourselves and taught us how to treat others with respect. Anything less was just not acceptable. Although as a teenager I didn't always agree with my father's protectiveness I know that he only wanted to keep me from harm. My parents have always been supportive and allowed us to make our mistakes. My father is the most generous man with his time and money. My mother is so sweet and beautiful.
About three years ago I was going through one of the roughest times in my life and they were more to me than I could ever express. They were loving and patient and so supportive. They will never know what all of that meant to me. I am forever grateful!!!! So here's to you Dad and Mom two of the greatest parents. You have been such an example of what a marriage should be. Wishing you both many more years of happiness and fun. Love you!!!!!!!!!

Annie's Run

A week ago I went to Santa Cruz with my friends Annie, Christine, and Josie. We met up with my friend Samantha who lives in Half Moon Bay. These girls I have been friends with for over twenty years. We all decided to get together since Annie was going to be running in the Wharf to Wharf race there which is a six mile run. We had a great time together. The race consisted of fifteen thousand runners and had forty different bands along the way playing. The weather was beautiful and of course we made time for shopping. Here are a few pics of the trip.

Moving

No, were not moving, Jay's mom and dad or Dappy and Granna as the kids call them are moving back to Bakersfield. We are so excited to have them moving so close, and not just for the babysitting!! :) These two are amazing, loving and giving parents. They were Jay's rock when he needed them most and have been amazing to us both. Thankyou Dad and Mom, we love you so much and are so excited to have you so close. Looking forward to many fun times together.

New Wheels

Here's a pic for those who have been wanting to see the new ride. I love it!!! It's great to drive and we all fit very comfortably. It's fully loaded and is much better on gas then our big ol' diesel truck.
