Labor Day Fishing Trip

Over Labor Day weekend we took a family fishing trip, which was a blast. We ended up going over to Morro Bay the night before and sleeping on the boat will all of the kids, needless to say Jay and I didn't get much sleep. We left out pretty early and spent the day out fishing. The weather was beautiful and we were able to share it with Jay's family. The kids absolutely love getting to sleep on Daddy's boat and we always race to see who catches the most fish, which was me this trip. :)

First Day Of School

It's so hard to believe another summer is gone and another school year has started. The kids were so excited to start school this week. We are so proud of all four of them. This year we have a big 7th grader two in 4th grade and our baby started Kindergarten. We look forward to the great progress they will make this year and the new friendships that will be made.

What can I say, it's truly the city that never sleeps. It's magical, and exciting, historical and busy but, I fell in love. It is now one of my absolute favorite places and the best vacation I have ever been on. Jay and I truly had the time of our lives. We made our rounds to all of the places we had wanted to visit, a few stops for friends who wanted us to try this or that for them, of course a Yankees game and we ate more food than I thought humanly possible. We conquered the subway, walked many miles and even enjoyed a walk to Broadway in the rain. The concrete jungle has stolen my heart and I cannot wait to return.
