Emily

On Saturday one of my very best friends daughter was in a sledding accident. Emily was sledding down a hill hit a bump and hit head on into a tree stump. She was unresponsive and had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital. Her parents were unable to fly with her and had a three hour drive to even get to where they were taking her. I cannot even imagine this torment! Thankfully our dear friend Annie was able to meet Emily at the hospital so that she wasn't alone until her parents were able to make it.

Emily had several fractures to her face and eye socket and a very serious concussion. We all immediately begin to pray. She has spent several days in the ICU. Things are looking good though and once she is able to eat and hold it down she will be able to go home. We love this little munchkin and are continuing to pray for a complete healing. We love you Emily!

Thank you Jesus. Another prayer being answered. It's been a while since I became so emotional over a child not related, but this incident really got to me and I seemed to have such a burden for her and her family. Am so thankful that things are looking so much better. Will continue to pray for her and the family.
Love ya,
Aunt Virginia
